Education is an important part of who I am and the work I do. I am passionate about educating my clients, fellow locticians, and those aspiring to enter the profession about the importance of beginning and maintaining locs from a healthy foundation. I believe that when we understand the why behind healthy loc care, not simply the technique, we are better equipped to make informed decisions, produce stronger results, and raise the standard of care within our industry.

Community is equally important to me. I value meaningful connection in my personal life, and I bring that same commitment to the microloc community. Whether I am caring for a client, sharing knowledge with another professional, or mentoring an aspiring loctician, I believe there is room for us to learn from one another, support one another, and grow together.

Every appointment I provide is curated for the individual client, allowing me to give focused attention to their hair, lifestyle, goals, and unique loc journey. I want my clients to understand their locs and feel confident caring for them between appointments—not simply depend on me to maintain them.Equally important is the environment in which that care takes place. I want Gridloc’d Roots™ to feel safe, private, comfortable, and welcoming—a space filled with good energy where clients can relax, recharge, and leave feeling as good as they look.
